2020 was the year to burn it all down

In Fall of 2020, I was going through my old journals, some of them going back to the mid 90s when I was in college.  I was in one of my clean and clear out phases, where I basically select an area of my house and purge and organize.  I’m a big fan of this ritual, in fact, all of my clients who work with me spend time clearing out their living space as part of their commitment to working with me.

After I sifted and read through many musty scented pages of my life from decades ago, I did what any normal person would do.

I had a F.I.R.E. ceremony, and burned several of my journals.  It not only felt freeing and cleansing, but it also cleared the space in my house where the journals once lived.

It felt amazing.

You probably already know this, Warrior, but how we live in our space is a direct reflection of how we live in our minds.  And even though my clients often resist this part a little bit, they realize the pay-offs that will happen as a result of committing to this very important first step in our work together.

Most of the people that are attracted to work with me in the first place come to me when it feels like they’ve lost control of their lives.  They may already have what looks like a successful business or life on paper, but they continue to struggle inside, which often leads them to feeling powerless.

Even though many of these clients are type-A, driven individuals who want to ‘just get started already’ with their transformation, they always tell me that they feel renewed, refreshed, and energetically available to do our work together.

The ‘I’ in F.I.R.E., (as in Reclaim Your F.I.R.E., my unique system of helping clients end the struggle and gain abundance), stands for Inner Peace.

If you are a driven entrepreneur who tends to ‘get it all done’, chances are, inner peace may be missing from the equation.

If you are ready for transformation once and for all, can I interest you in doing a little spring cleaning in your house?

Here are some tips to get started:

  1. Start small.  Pick a corner or a smaller space to start.  The goal is to finish.

  2. Set your intention:  decide what this experience is going to feel like for you, before, during, and after.  Remember:  this is your project that is for your greater good!

  3. Set a timer.  The goal is to not get too ‘carried away’ with looking at the old photos, for example, but to move swiftly and clear the energy in your space.

  4. Put items into one of 3 piles:  1) keep,    2) to go through later,    3) donate/swap/throw away.  Don’t overthink this step!

  5. Use sage, palo santo, or essential oil diffuser to clear the air once you are finished.  Imagine the old, stagnant energy clearing and making room for this new, expansive, clear energy.

  6. Do a dance, play some music, and celebrate what you just accomplished!

You’ll discover soon enough, Warrior, that this foundational step can bring all the Financial Abundance, Inner Peace, Radiance, and Energy Balance that you have been looking for in your life.

Try it and let me know how it goes!

And if you’re ready to crush it this year and are ready to take it a step further, book a call with me.
